In 2024, the company transitioned to Williams Papadopoulos Design, a name change that better reflects the 20 years that Niki Papadopoulos has grown and shaped the firm’s culture alongside Mark Williams. Williams Papadopoulos Design represents a continuous thread of Mark and Niki’s commitment to delivering exceptional services for exceptional clients.
With the capability to provide in-house interior design and architectural services, Williams Papadopoulos Design offers a more holistic view of how projects work—inside and out. Whether creating whole-home designs for new builds or renovations, respectfully updating historic homes, or reimagining upscale high-rise condominiums, the team at Williams Papadopoulos Design knows which elements are critical to the success of each client’s project.
In addition to private residences, the firm has a breadth of expertise in multi-family and specialty commercial projects. Although based in Atlanta, the team has built an award-winning body of work throughout the United States and the Caribbean.

Meet the Team
Polished, professional, personable… it is perhaps these qualities of firm principal Mark Williams that always put clients at ease. Mark is an accomplished architectural designer and skilled communicator. He has a reputation for delivering results on time and within budget. Mark is a problem solver at his core who balances floor plans, furniture layouts, architectural details, and a full array of texture, contrast, and scale to create highly tailored lifestyle experiences that are ideally suited to each client. His interiors are eminently livable and effortlessly chic.
Mark earned his architectural degree from Georgia Tech and studied at the Ecole d'Architecture, Tolbiac in Paris before coming to Atlanta and starting his career in interior design. In 2007, Mark began his eponymous firm, Mark Williams Design. In 2024, Mark and his partner Niki Papadopoulos rebranded the firm to showcase the collaborative spirit of their partnership. Today, Mark and the Williams Papadopoulos Design team continue their passion for creating elegant interiors for luxury high-rises, high-end primary residences and vacation homes, and boutique commercial clients.
Mark Williams, Principal
With an innate eye for beauty and a strong sense of style, Niki thought a career in fashion was her destiny. She moved from her home in San Jose, California, to study at American Intercontinental University in Atlanta. However, it didn't take long for Niki to realize that the world of interior design was more interesting, viewing it as experiential couture, perfectly tailored to each client. Niki changed majors and in 2003, while still in school, Niki worked as an intern, filing paperwork and folding memos in the lobby of the same design firm where her now partner, Mark Williams was working.
In 2007, Niki joined Mark Williams at his newly formed company, Mark Williams Design. Her design eye, strong work ethic, and problem-solving abilities made her an invaluable asset to the team where she rose through the ranks and became a partner in 2016. In March 2024, Mark Williams Design officially relaunched under the name Williams Papadopoulos Design. Niki is deeply committed to creating successful projects for clients who value her talent and ability to manage the design process with an inimitable directness that gets the job done.
